Artist Bio

Monet Takauchi was born in 1992 in New York and was raised in Tokyo, Japan. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa in 2016. Her work revolves around the whimsical nature of what she encounters in her waking life as well as in her life in her dreams. Takauchi currently lives in Honolulu, Hawai’i and in Tokyo, Japan.
